A mother's worst nightmare inside her own home. And the attacker was no stranger." The scream echoed through the quiet nursery. "You will answer for this!"
The young mother was pinned fiercely against her baby’s crib. Her hair was pulled back by the relentless grip of the older woman. Inside the crib, the newborn wailed, sensing the terrifying violence just inches away. Suddenly, the bedroom door burst open.
The husband froze. The sight of his wife being brutally attacked shattered his reality. Tears of pure disbelief filled his eyes—before instantly morphing into blinding rage. He lunged across the room.
With a furious shove, he threw the older woman away, sending her crashing into the heavy wooden wardrobe.
