On a rainy Tuesday afternoon, Marcus Bell walked into her office, a light smile breaking across his professional features. He laid a single, leather-bound document on her desk.
"This just arrived from the federal court registry in Pennsylvania," Marcus said. "Oliver Callahan signed his final corporate waiver this morning. He has officially waived all future rights to appeal his mortgage forgery sentence, and he has signed a full disclosure agreement regarding his mother's remaining hidden accounts in Zurich."
Samantha looked down at the signature on the paper. Oliver’s once-arrogant, bold handwriting had become small, shaky, and completely defeated. He would spend the next six years in a concrete cell, realizing every single day that the bride he had tried to humiliate had completely erased his family's existence from the financial world.
"What about Donatella?" Samantha asked, closing the folder.

The townhouse liquidation completely covered the sub-contractor debts."
Samantha stood up, walking over to the main interactive wall monitor where the educational grid map was displayed. "I don't take joy in their isolation, Marcus. But the variables had to be balanced.
