Seat fabric.
Blurry movement.
Wind.
Audio.

My voice.
Evan’s.
Car doors.
An argument.
Footsteps.
Lauren’s voice.
Metal scraping.
Water.
Then twenty-nine minutes of darkness while Evan’s truck drove away with my phone under the seat.
